Datamars offers a complete portfolio of RFID products for companion animal identification as well as the empowering online application PetLink that supports the reunification of pets with their owners.
Datamars' products include rice-sized glass- and plastic-encapsulated RFID transponders that are painlessly injected under the skin of the animal for permanent identification, as well as the corresponding injectors and scanners. PetLink, as online registration and reunification platform completes the offering.

Datamars has developed two FDX-B type transponders with dimensions of only 13 x 2mm.
Transponders for animal identification
 > Glass transponder T-IS8010
Since 1996, this type of RFID transponder has been implanted in millions of companion animals throughout the world. Encapsulated in bio-compatible glass, this RFID transponder contains a unique, preprogrammed code in accordance with ISO standard 11784.
Key benefits:
- Error-free identification: The indelible RFID identification code cannot be manipulated and is unique worldwide
- Universal readability: In accordance with ISO standard 11784, the unique identification code can be read anywhere in the world!
- Extreme durability: As RFID transponders need no battery, they are extremely durable.
- Fast and painless injection: The small rice-sized chip is painlessly placed under the animal's skin by a veterinarian.

 > Polymer transponder T-IP8010
Datamars' latest innovation in transponder technology for animal identification is the polymer encapsulated RFID chip. Lighter than the glass chip and absolutely unbreakable, this new transponder is already widely used in markets like Germany or Netherlands.
Key benefits:
- All the benefits as the glass transponder
- Even lighter and smaller: The polymer transponder weighs approximately 7% less that the glass chip and is 4% smaller.
- Unbreakable: The bio-compatible polymer housing is virtually unbreakable.

 GATE MAX
GATE MAX is an innovative stationery reader that has been designed especially for shelters, large veterinary clinics and border crossing points to facilitate the pet identification process.
Key benefits:
- Fast, hands-free identification: The GATE MAX reader allows direct identification of the pet passing between the antennas. The pet's ID number is automatically read and displayed either on a touch screen (optional) mounted on the antenna, or on a computer screen at the clinic, shelter or border crossing point. No manual typing of ID codes is required, thus avoiding human error and facilitating the process.
- Enhanced connectivity: Interactivity and speed is achieved through the direct connection of the antenna to the database or computer.
