Power-One’s advanced designs also facilitate delivery of full-rated power with minimal cooling requirements. This provides greater overall-system layout flexibility as power supplies do not have to be located directly adjacent to a system fan.

In some applications, the need for a dedicated power-supply cooling fan may be completely eliminated. This added design flexibility can be especially beneficial in space constrained 1-U “pizza-box” enclosures.
